Lowery Wins AT&T
11/02/2008
It was a FootJoy playoff at the AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am, where Steve Lowery captured his first PGA TOUR victory in more than seven years with a birdie on the first extra hole. Lowery, who closed with a final round 68 (-4), topped Vijay Singh, who birdied the 72nd hole to force the sudden death playoff. Both players finished regulation at 278 (-10). The win was the third of Lowery's career, all of them in playoffs. At 47, he is the oldest winner in 71-year history of the tournament.
Lowery's playoff win was the second straight for FootJoy golf shoe players on the PGA TOUR. Last week, J.B. Holmes won on the first extra hole of the FBR Open.
A long time FJ wearer, Steve prefers the stylish look and platform stability of FootJoy Classics Tour golf shoes.
FootJoy was the shoe of choice for more players at this week's AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am. 67% of the field laced up a pair of FootJoy shoes in the desert (nearest competitor 21%).

J.B. Wins FBR in Playoff
4/02/2008
FootJoy player J.B. Holmes earned his second career PGA TOUR victory by capturing the FBR Open for the second time in three years. The victory came with a birdie on the first hole of a sudden death playoff. Holmes birdied the 18th hole twice in a matter of minutes, first with a 13-foot putt to force the playoff, then with an 8-footer after a monster 359-yard drive in sudden death.
J.B. split time this week in a few different shoe styles. During the middle rounds, he laced up new DryJoys, which provided maximum "FLEXTABILITY" during his scorching 65-66 rounds in the not-so-scorching Arizona desert.
Since attending college at the University of Kentucky, J.B. has worn an FJ RainGrip glove for maximum moisture management despite the conditions.
FootJoy was the shoe of choice for more players at this week's FBR Open. 64% of the field laced up a pair of FootJoy shoes in the desert (nearest competitor 17%).
